Designing Platform Consistency

Creation of a unified design system for Modica's OMNI interface.

The OMNI platform is used by some of the world's biggest enterprise organisations and brands to deliver high volume, mission critical SMS messaging services.

The Eyemagnet team was approached to create a united component library for Modica's interface. The interface was over ten years old and had been built up slowly over time with different technologies, thus the aim of the project was to deliver a comprehensive design system to bring a uniform brand experience for components across OMNI.

We performed a thorough suite audit of the entire platform to streamline the design and increase usability of the sections. After compiling a list of components that satisfied every feature within OMNI, we created in-depth style specifications and provided examples for each section.

The style guide serves as a comprehensive reference to achieve consistent and high-quality design output across the Modica brand.
